European construction, history and future
Monday 09 July 2012
In this publication, Henri Malosse and Laure Limousin write about letting civil society take back its importance in order to relaunch the EU’s political project. Malosse has been active for 30 years in Brussels, defending French companies. He has already penned five books on Europe, chairs the Employers’ Group at the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), and he was also the initiator of the Euro Info Centres – now the business support organisation European Enterprise Network. Limousin is a Sciences Po Paris graduate, who has authored ‘Les métiers du lobbying et des affaires publiques’. Malosse makes a “call to the young people of Europe”: asking them to speak out their aspiration for a more balanced and integrated society, he paraphrases Paul-Henri Spaak’s “Give us a shove!”
