EIB loan for SMEs in Kenya

Small and medium-sized businesses in Kenya will benefit from increased access to long-term and attractive funding in local and foreign currency under a new €70 million European Investment Bank lending scheme with leading Kenyan banks. Under the Private Enterprise Finance Facility III scheme, launched in Nairobi on 11 April,  Co-operative Bank and Housing Finance Company Limited will use EIB funding to finance the expansion, modernisation or startup investment costs of SMEs in Kenya.
