Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Füle met the foreign affairs ministers of Croatia and Slovenia, on 11 January, to discuss the next steps of the implementation of the border arbitration agreement that both countries signed in November 2009. It is specified in said agreement that the president of the Commission and the member of the Commission responsible for enlargement are both to establish a list of people from which Croatian and Slovenian officials will appoint the president of the arbitration tribunal as well as two of its members. Füle told the ministers that the Commission was planning to communicate the list in the second half of January.
