Marcus Wiemann (Germany) joined, on 1 September, the International Association of Oil and Gas Producers (OGP) as director EU affairs. Most recently he worked with Bofest Consult in Germany, and before that he was director of energy policy for EWE (Elektrizitätswerke Weser Ems - Germany) and, between 2007 and 2009, director of the EU office of VNG (Verbundnetz Gas) in Brussels. He replaces Beate Raabe, who moved to Eurogas.
