Gian Luca Giovannucci/EUCA

Friday 03 February 2012

Gian Luca Giovannucci, representative of Italy, has been confirmed as president of the Brussels-based European University College Association (EUCA) for a second consecutive term. The new two-year mandate was voted unanimously by the EUCA General Assembly, on 1 February. The EUCA Board has also expanded from three to four countries: the English Netherhall Educational Association (NEA) now joins the Italian Conferenza dei Collegi Universitari di Merito (CCU), the Spanish Consejo de Colegios Mayores (CCM) and the Warsaw University of Technology (WUT). The new Secretary-General is Fabio Monti (from Fondazione Rui and a member of CCU). The vice-presidency is still under CCM’s control, but the new representative is Mikel Gotzon Aramburu from Colegio Mayor Mondragon. www.euca.eu
