Gérard Bobier/NORMAPME

On 1 December, the General Assembly of NORMAPME elected Gérard Bobier from the French Crafts Association APCMA (Assemblée Permanente des Chambres de Métiers et de l’Artisanat ) as new president. Bobier has been a member of the NORMAPME Board since May 2011 and the president of the Chambre de métiers et de l’artisanat (CMA) d’Indre-et-Loire in Tours. As a board member of the French Standards Institute AFNOR, he holds the presidency of the standardisation and crafts concertation committee. He is the founder and head of two small enterprises in the public works sector. Former President Hans-Werner Müller remains honorary president. NORMAPME is an international non-profit association created in 1996 with the support of the European Commission, representing over 12 million European crafts and SMEs in standardisation. www.normapme.eu
