In April, the European Twowheel Retailers Association (ETRA) elected Erik Oddershede (Denmark) as its new president. Oddershede is the director of the Danish trade association Danske Cykelhandlere; ETRA’s member in Denmark. Oddershede has been a member of the ETRA Committee for 15 years. The election of Oddershede took place after Maurice Manders, who was elected president of ETRA in 2009, stepped down. ETRA is the European professional association for independent bicycle, moped and motorcycle retailers. It represents some 5,000 companies (SMEs), which employ approximately 11,500 people in Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. www.etra-eu.com
