The European Commission granted clearance on 19 November to the proposed joint venture between Avio S.p.A. together with its subsidiary Se.Co.Sv.Im. S.r.l., known collectively as Avio Group (Italy), and S.eci-Energia S.p.A. (Italy). Avio produces aeroplane engine components and aero-derivative systems. Seci-E develops industrial and commercial projects in the energy sector. The joint venture, Termica Colleferro S.p.A., will develop a cogeneration power plant.
