In August, the European Commission named François Lequiller (France) director of the National and European Accounts Directorate at Eurostat. It also decided to fill the directorship of the Mediterranean and Black Sea Directorate at DG Maritime Affairs and Fisheries by transferring Monique Pariat, an AD15 official who is currently director of resources, a directorate shared by DG Home Affairs and Justice. Stefano Manservisi, former director at DG Development, has been named director-general of the new DG Home Affairs and Françoise Le Bail director-general of DG Justice. Jonathan Faull, who headed the former DG Justice-Home Affairs, has been appointed to head DG Internal Market.
